Villa Francini Del Prete is a large, historic, rural country house set in the tiny hamlet of Fazzano in Lunigiana, a stunning, unspoiled and undiscovered region of northern Tuscany with lush green vistas and clean air. The villa has recently been renovated to provide comfortable en-suite accommodation.

Offering rare respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Villa Francini-Del Prete is the perfect place to unwind, de-stress and just be.

As my private house guest you will enjoy comfortable en-suite accommodation, with crisp white cotton sheets, quality pillows and comfortable beds for a wonderful night’s sleep.

Be woken by birdsong. Savour breakfast on the terrace. Relax with a book on comfy sofas in the garden or take your sketch-pad or camera into the garden to capture the loveliest of views. Breathe.

Find a shady spot and have a snooze. Go on a gentle walk around the hamlet or venture further afield to the next villages. Take the time to meditate or practice yoga or stretching. Enjoy an aperitivo on the patio and a healthy dinner in good company. Then sleep like a baby…

A wonderful experience for anyone, but especially if you are exhausted, run-down, over-worked or just plain tired of being busy.

Villa
Villa Francini Del Prete is available to rent for your exclusive use. Currently sleeping up to 14 people. Exclusive use of pool area.

B&B
You may also enjoy Villa Francini Del Prete for a short stay and rent just one of the rooms for two days or more. Simply lounge in the house and relax in the garden or explore this charming and unknown area of Tuscany

Weddings
From 2020 I shall be hosting Weddings, blessing ceremonies, renewal of vows and more in the adjoining private Baroque-style Oratorio (a small local chapel where villagers could attend mass and services held by a local priest who would travel around many of these small chapels, as opposed to a piece of music). The chapel is currently undergoing structural restoration.

Home
Villa Francini is, above all, my beloved home. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be able to live in such a special home and share it with people who appreciate the beauty, energy and history of this little corner of rural paradise.

Activities
If lounging in the garden, walking the local paths, eating, dangling your feet in the pool and sipping G&Ts on the terrace just doesn’t cut if for you and you have the urge to actually do something then fear not; a variety of activities can be arranged for you during your stay at Villa Francini.

There are of course many things to do and places to visit in the vicinity but if you fancy learning a new skill, for example, then why not try some of these activities.

ARCHERY, FORAGING, HOLISTIC THERAPIES, HORSE RIDING, LOCAL ATTRACTIONS, PILATES, SOAP & LOTION PRODUCTION, WALKING, HIKING & RUNNING or YOGA.

Some can be held at the villa, some you will need to travel to and the majority will involve a small surcharge. All of these activities will be arranged individually for you, with prices dependant on season, duration, number of participants, whether just a one-off session or an hour or more every day so it is impossible to give an accurate price estimate here.
